why is there more deer in the snow
or is it just that they show
brown against white
gracious graceful mobile beings
restful in your company
they don't seem to shy away
why
you're a city girl
you're not often outside the boundaries
but this slice of trees seems to be
dream forest stretching into
city fantasies
you're walking quite near
the stags does brown fawns
left to your inner city compass
with the snow's light on your right
and you're wondering
could the deer be there
could people
is a border even necessary
one step down to the forest
one step up to the city
enchanted deer running
on a flight of horizontal stairs
snow spinning
white filigree on two floors
friends
aliveness
meeting halfway on a staircase
people feeding lost fawns
deer guiding lost kids
city girl walking warm
in your one step down jacket
you're wondering

Welcome to my poetry site. I write about identity, colours, visualization, energy clothes, fantasy clothes, real clothes ... My poetry is made with inspiration from quartz crystals. My Artist's Tool Poems are stories about creativity and creative recovery. They tell about individuals meeting their inner creative identity, or mystical twin. I hope you'll get inspired ...
