you're home
by your fast train sounding sea
always humming beyond the harebell dune
you work all week in the city
but you can't bear the uniform
so on friday nights
you'll come running home
unsung sea song
you shed your uniform
and hurry into your sea blue floral
maxi dress from long ago
running barefoot
into the sunset surf
you stop
a standing stone
a sibyl by the sea
you know you're better
better in the city
when replenished by your sea change
this sea blue maxi dress flowing floral
wild flowers splashing to the hem
is it the same you wore
when your were ten or sixteen
or is it just your free soul
manifesting
unsung sea song
you're coming into your own
you're wild and tranquil
you're sea and harebell
in your long ago jersey skirt
strewn with flowers of the dune
Vera Kelgart (with grounding crystal) 2015
Welcome to my poetry site. I write about identity, colours, visualization, energy clothes, fantasy clothes, real clothes ... My poetry is made with inspiration from quartz crystals. My Artist's Tool Poems are stories about creativity and creative recovery. They tell about individuals meeting their inner creative identity, or mystical twin. I hope you'll get inspired ...
